Court Bookings

Court Bookings & COVID-19 info

We are introducing a court booking system which under normal circumstances makes it easier for members to plan their playing times and gives visibility to planned club events. But now during the COVID-19 outbreak its a requirement to help ensure social distancing and aid with potential contact tracing.

  • All Adult Players and Parents of Juniors must register on the system
  • Player names must be entered for each booking (The names must be correct to comply with Covid-19 Contact tracing requirements)
  • U16s must be supervised by a parent or guardian
  • Family & Junior time – 5pm – 7:15pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance
  • Time slots are 1 hour to give all members a chance to play. Times are staggered and there is a 15 min gap between bookings. Please respect this to maintain physical distancing
  • Please arrive 5 mins before your booking and leave as soon as your time is up
  • Tennis booking quotas 2 Peak & 3 off Peak live bookings per person
  • Padel booking quotas 2 Peak & 2 off Peak live bookings per person
  • Peak times 5pm to 9:45pm (Mon – Fri). All other times are off-Peak
  • For longer games we can book 2 consecutive slots during off-peak times
  • Book a free court 3 hrs prior to the slot without impact to your quota
  • Feel free to stay on the court if the next slot free but please book it as per the previous item. (For tracing & stops someone else taking it on you)

Players must stay at home if you

  • Have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • Have been overseas or exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • Have flu-like symptoms or are feeling unwell
  • Live outside County Cavan

When coming down to play Players must

  • Pre-book your court online
  • Both Singles & Doubles is now permitted with people outside your household. Its still recommended that you stay 2m apart as must as possible
  • Use the Hand Sanitisers provided but it is the players responsibility to bring their own
  • Keep 2 metres away from other people at all times
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes and dispose of any used tissue in your own bag and bring it home with you
  • If you choose to share tennis balls then extra care should be taken to avoid touching your face. Please sanitise your hands before and after play
  • Players should remain apart at change of ends
  • Once play has finished players should leave the club promptly
  • Hands should be washed and sanitised as soon as possible
