Guide for New Members

Thinking about joining our great club?
Please take a read through this page, explore the website and our facebook page. Be sure to contact us via the methods below or drop us a message on the facebook page if you have any questions!!

If you have just joined the club, please be sure to familiarise yourself with the club guidelines outlined below.

Introduction

We are an active club with a strong junior and adult membership with ages ranging from 4 years to 80 years. We recognise that while many thrive on competition, there are many of us who are best described as recreational players. Interaction with others and making new friends is as important to us as the silverware others may bring home!

Club Facilities

We have five rubber hard court surfaces, all with floodlights. Junior members have access to the courts during school term-time.
Family time is from 5pm-7pm

Club rules and constitution

A copy of the Club Rules and Constitution is available on this section of our website.

Adult Club Night

If you don’t know too many members, Club Night is a good starting point. Open to all adult members, this takes place every Tuesday evening from 8.00pm to 11.00pm with games arranged every 20 minutes involving all present. You may come and go as you please. Tea and coffee is served up at 10pm. This is a great way for new members to get to know other players.

Non members who are considering joining the club are also welcome to participate in 4 weekly club nights to help determine if the club and sport is for them

Adult activities

The committee aims to keep members informed of upcoming events and developments within the club. Events are always publicised at the clubhouse so please keep an eye on the notices. Emails are now an essential part of our communication so please make sure your details are filled in correctly on your membership form.
